Who are you and why should I care?
My name is Patty Harder and I’m the one doing the confessing. I built my own business using a simple, three-step process. If learning more about that process intrigues you, you’ve come to the right place!

I have over 15 years of experience as a copywriter. I’ve worked inside the corporate world as a marketing manager and outside that world as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant. How is this site different than the other blogs about freelance writing?
This site is different simply because I’m writing it. Every writer-turned-teacher brings something unique to the blogging table. My communication style is straight-forward, low-key and conversational. To illustrate my points, I use real examples from my business. My writing is not overly witty (sorry about that), which is a little surprising since I have a fairly twisted sense of humor. But I’m working on bringing a bit more levity into my writing.
